Knik Community Childcare Alaska provides an enriched learning environment that has helped countless students get ahead. Founded in 2018, the Child Care Center is located in Wasilla and reflects the diverse backgrounds and cultures of the area. We’re extremely proud of our students and staff, who are always eager to learn, create and grow together. Your privacy is important to KT.JMJ. This privacy statement provides information about the personal information that KT.JMJ collects, and the ways in which KT.JMJ uses that personal information.

Tenant Rent Payment

Personal information collection

KT.JMJ may collect and use the following kinds of personal information:

• information from landlords and property managers with respect to rent pay habits

• information that you provide for the purpose of applying for rental approval

• any other information that you send to KT.JMJ

Using personal information

KT.JMJ may use your personal information to:

• Verify employment

• Verify housing history

• send to you statements and invoices if applicable

• send you marketing communications as in a newsletter

Where KT.JMJ discloses your personal information to its End Users, the End User will be obligated to use that personal information in accordance with the terms of this privacy statement. They must have your written consent to do so.

In addition to the disclosures reasonably necessary for the purposes identified elsewhere above, KT.JMJ may disclose your personal information to the extent that it is required to do so by law, in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings, and in order to establish, exercise or defend its legal rights.

Personal financial information about tenants or prospective tenants is confidential. The landlord should not share or release tenant records unless:

The tenant or prospective tenant has given prior written consent.

The information is already a matter of public record.

The information is a summary of the tenant’s rental payment record, or the tenant’s rent payment.

The information is a copy of a material noncompliance notice that has not been remedied by the tenant, or a termination notice given to the tenant under §55-248.31 of the VRLTA and the tenant did not remain in the premises.

The information is requested by a law-enforcement or public safety official in the performance of their duties.

The information is provided in the case of an emergency.

The landlord must protect the privacy and confidentiality of a tenant’s information and not share it with a third party unless required by law, or in compliance with a law enforcement request.
